What we cannot help with

We are not a government department, a bank or a financial adviser. We cannot look at your tax record or pension, check a payment, take an application or advise on your own situation. Please do not send us your National Insurance number, bank details, login details or official letters.

For your own case, the official routes include:

• HMRC for Income Tax, tax codes and National Insurance,
• the Pension Service for the State Pension,
• MoneyHelper for free, impartial guidance backed by the government,
• your own bank, using the number on your card, for anything about a payment.
